Una planta fotovoltaica es una central eléctrica que convierte la energía solar en electricidad mediante el efecto fotovoltaico. El efecto fotovoltaico se produce cuando los fotones de la luz, al impactar sobre un determinado material, consiguen desplazar un electrón, lo que genera una corriente continua. Una central fotovoltaica está compuesta básicamente por módulos fotovoltaicos y un inversor. Los paneles fotovoltaicos son los encargados de transformar la radiación solar. A su vez, el inversor convierte la corriente continua en corriente alterna de características similares a las de la red eléctrica. En este tipo de sistemas solares toda la electricidad generada se inyecta a la red de distribución eléctrica. Este funcionamiento conlleva un mejor rendimiento de la instalación porque de este modo se aprovecha toda la energía generada. (Planas, 2021). Las inconformidades en contra del servicio brindado por la empresa Electricaribe en la Costa Caribe, especialmente en poblaciones del Cesar, siguen a la orden del día. Tres días sin el servicio de energía llevaron a que los habitantes del corregimiento de Bohórquez, jurisdicción de Campo de la Cruz, se tomaran la carretera oriental para evitar el paso de vehículos y, al tiempo, llamar la atención de las autoridades. El resultado de los disturbios fue una persona muerta y tres más heridas. El alcalde de El paso, Luis Alberto Murgas Pupo, aseguró que teme que suceda una protesta similar debido a que el servicio de energía prestado por Electricaribe en su municipio y el corregimiento de La Loma es deficiente. “Estamos haciendo un llamado a Electricaribe porque el fluido eléctrico se fue más de diez veces en un día en el corregimiento de La Loma, y algunas veces en El Paso, entonces la comunidad está pensando en tomarse las vías y no lo podemos permitir. Desde la Alcaldía le hago un llamado a la doctora Mónica Hoyos para que intervenga la situación y que no se presenten nuevos apagones en los próximos días”. (Jiménez, 2014). La metodología incluirá amarre a coordenadas de la Red Geodésica Nacional de Colombia mediante tecnología GNSS y Levantamiento Aero fotogramétrico y Topográfico mediante RPA (Aeronave Remotamente Tripulada). Toda la información geográfica será entregada con base al sistema de referencia oficial de Colombia (MAGNA-SIRGAS) y utilizando como sistema de proyección las coordenadas planas de Gauss Krüger, Origen Único Nacional (CTM12), época de referencia 2018,0.

All geographic information will be delivered based on the official reference system of Colombia (MAGNA-SIRGAS) and using as projection system the flat coordinates of Gauss Krüger, Unique National Origin (CTM12), reference epoch 2018.0.
