Diseño de un sistema de alerta temprana por inundaciones en la Institución Agrícola de Guacavía en Cumaral-Meta

Los fenómenos naturales con mayor incidencia y afectación en la zona de estudio son los de origen hidrometeorológico, ante eso es importante destacar que la Institución Agrícola de Guacavía no cuenta con un sistema de alertas tempranas de inundaciones, siendo un factor agobiante en la presencia de escenarios del riesgo. Teniendo en cuenta que la Inspección de Guacavía hace parte de la cuenca del río Guacavía que está aproximadamente a 200 mts del colegio, el objetivo del proyecto fue diseñar el Sistema de Alerta Temprana (SAT) por inundaciones para la Institución Agrícola de Guacavía, transformándose en un instrumento valioso que obtenga documentación para el colegio sobre los eventos hidrológicos que se puedan presentar una mejora en la calidad de vida de la comunidad educativa. Para esto se realizó una identificación de las planicies de inundación del río teniendo en cuenta las precipitaciones máximas y los caudales máximos del rio, que conlleva a determinar la ubicación de los puntos para situar los equipos y dispositivos que contribuyan con la estrategia, por último, se realizó el montaje estratégico institucional que involucre toda la comunidad del colegio, ya que para que la herramienta funcione en óptimas condiciones debe contar con total apoyo de los individuos que se encuentran en amenaza de inundación, de tal manera que les permita tomar decisiones y dar aviso a las autoridades pertinentes.

For this, an identification of the flooding plans of the river is carried out taking into account the maximum rainfall and the maximum flow rates of the river, which entails determining the location of the points to locate the equipment and devices that contribute to the strategy, finally , carried out the institutional strategic assembly that involves the entire community of the school, since for the tool to work in optimal conditions it must have the full support of the individuals that are in danger of flooding, in such a way that it allows them to make decisions and give notice to the corresponding authorities.
