Los quítridos son habitantes comunes de los ambientes acuáticos, sin embargo, existen pocos reportes para ecosistemas de alta montaña. En esta contribución se comparó la composición del ensamblaje de Chytridiomycota en la rizosfera y filosfera de Espeletiopsis sp. en cuatro sitios del altiplano Cundiboyacense predominados por vegetación del ecosistema de páramo. Para establecer la variación del ensamblaje, primero se identificaron OUTs de quítridos aislados de diferentes secciones de la planta por medio de cultivos inicialmente cebados hasta obtenerlos axénicos, luego, se estimó la riqueza y frecuencia de estos organismos dentro del sistema, y, por último, en un intento por determinar la estructura del ensamblaje quítrido se caracterizó su distribución en vertical. Se registraron en total 33 morfotipos de los cuales solo cinco fueron identificados como miembros del phylum Chytridiomycota por la amplificación de ADN con cebadores específicos para la región 18S-ITS1–5.8S-ITS2-28S. La estructura del ensamblaje presentó una mayor frecuencia de colonización en hojas jóvenes y en necromasa, en la rizosfera se encontró la mayor riqueza de especies, la abundancia relativa no cambió significativamente entre las secciones de la planta, y la diversidad en total fue baja. Y se estima que la estructura en vertical puede estar influenciada por interacciones planta-animal.

Chytrids are common inhabitants of aquatic environments, however, there are few reports for high mountain ecosystems. In this contribution he compared the composition of the Chytridiomycota assemblage in the rhizosphere and phyllosphere of Espeletiopsis sp. in four sites of the Cundiboyacense plateau predominated by vegetation of the páramo ecosystem. To establish the variation of the assembly, first OUTs of isolated chytrids from different sections of the plant were identified by means of cultures initially primed until they were axenic, then the richness and frequency of these organisms within the system was estimated, and, finally, In an attempt to determine the structure of the chytrid assembly, its vertical distribution was characterized. A total of 33 morphotypes were recorded, of which only five were identified as members of the Chytridiomycota phylum by DNA amplification with specific primers for the 18S-ITS1–5.8S-ITS2-28S region. The assembly structure presented a higher frequency of colonization in young leaves and in necromass, in the rhizosphere the highest species richness was found, the relative abundance did not vary significantly between the sections of the plant, and the diversity in total was low. And it is estimated that the vertical structure may be influenced by plant-animal interactions.
