Desarrollo de un prototipo funcional para el monitoreo y control de variables (humedad del suelo, pH del agua, temperatura del ambiente y luminosidad), asociadas al fertirriego del cultivo de tomate Cherry (Solanum lycopersicum var. La agricultura colombiana en la actualidad se encuentra en un punto en el que los pequeños agricultores no cuentan con tecnología capaz de mejorar el rendimiento de recursos como el agua y el fertilizante, causando afectaciones biológicas a los cultivos, de ahí surge la importancia de la fertiirrigación, donde los aportes nutritivos se disuelven en el agua y luego las plantas los absorben directamente cuando toman agua. (GeoPard Agriculture, 2019), esto con el fin de hacer un uso optimo tanto del agua como del fertilizante, permitiendo mejorar el proceso de aplicación de los fertilizantes, ya que los nutrientes van dirigidos a la zona radicular, permitiendo una acción más rápida y una mejor asimilación (Khan and Mohammad, 2014). Por tanto, este proyecto de grado tiene por objetivo desarrollar un prototipo funcional para el monitoreo y control de variables (humedad del suelo, pH del agua, temperatura del ambiente y luminosidad), asociadas al fertirriego del cultivo de tomate Cherry (solanum lycopersicum var. Cerasiforme), de su etapa vegetativa, en Cota, Cundinamarca. Para lo cual se desarrolló inicialmente con una primera etapa de conceptualización donde se realizó inspección del invernadero, se construyeron tablas de requerimientos de los nutrientes más importantes, como también la cantidad de ppm de los micronutrientes a usar en el fertilizante líquido y por ultimo las características que debe tener el cultivo para que crezca óptimamente; en la segunda etapa, que fue la de diseño, donde se realizaron matrices de decisión para la elección de los sensores, se realizó la topología de red, se hizo el modelado en Fusión y los códigos de programación para los sensores; en la tercera etapa, la de implementación, se realizó la implementación del sistema, basándose en la topología y modelados realizados en la etapa anterior; en la última etapa que es la de evaluación, comparándolo con un cultivo sin monitoreo. El sistema de fertirriego diseñado consta de los siguientes elementos: una caneca de 25 litros, 16 estacas auto compensadas, un micro conector Bayoneta, 8 metros de microtubo PVC, 7 metros de manguera de polietileno con 16 mm de diámetro, una electrobomba sumergible de 28 watios, 3 codos poli de diámetro de 16 mm, una T de polietileno de 16 mm y un inyecto Venturi; esto con un sistema de monitoreo que cuenta con un sensor para la humedad del suelo fue el YL-69, el sensor para la temperatura del ambiente y la humedad se seleccionó el DHT11, para la luminosidad se seleccionó LDR 5528 y para el pH del agua se usó uno análogo. Este sistema permite el inyectar la mezcla de agua y fertilizante a 16 plántulas, ubicadas en dos camas diferentes, cada plántula en una bolsa de sustrato, el cual uno de ellos cuenta con un sistema de sensores que permiten el monitoreo de la humedad del suelo, pH del agua, luminosidad, humedad y temperatura del ambiente. En la última etapa del proyecto, la cual es la de evaluación, se realización tablas para la comparación entre las 8 plántulas que no cuentan con los sensores de monitoreo, contra las otras 8 plántulas que si cuentan con el sistema de monitoreo; observando que las plántulas que no cuentan con sistema de monitoreo, tienen un porcentaje mayor de crecimiento, esto debido a que su área foliar es mayor y las plántulas que si cuentan con un sistema de monitoreo, son mayores (se sembraron 2 semanas antes), por consiguiente necesitan mayor cantidad de agua y fertilizante. A pesar de eso, el monitoreo fue beneficioso, en el tema de detectar fallos en la humedad del suelo, y observar que 3 de las estacas por la poca humedad del sustrato no estaban bien adheridas por consiguiente su riego no era eficiente y se logró solucionar. Además de que se observó que estas mismas plántulas tuvieron buena absorción de nutrientes importantes como fósforo, nitrógeno y potasio, debido a su gran germinación de tomates.

Colombian agriculture is currently at a point where small farmers do not have technology capable of improving the performance of resources such as water and fertilizer, causing biological affectations to crops, hence the importance of fertigation arises, where nutrient inputs are dissolved in water and then absorbed directly by plants when they drink water. (GeoPard Agriculture, 2019), this in order to make optimal use of both water and fertilizer, allowing to improve the process of fertilizer application, since the nutrients are directed to the root zone, allowing faster action and better assimilation (Khan and Mohammad, 2014). Therefore, this degree project aims to develop a functional prototype for the monitoring and control of variables (soil moisture, water pH, ambient temperature and luminosity), associated with the fertigation of the Cherry tomato crop (Solanum lycopersicum var. Cerasiforme), in its vegetative stage, in Cota, Cundinamarca. For which it was initially developed with a first stage of conceptualization where the greenhouse was inspected, tables of requirements of the most important nutrients were constructed, as well as the amount of ppm of the micronutrients to be used in the liquid fertilizer and finally the characteristics that the crop must have to grow optimally; in the second stage, which was the design stage, where decision matrices were made for the choice of sensors, the network topology was developed, the Fusion modeling was done and the programming codes for the sensors; in the third stage, the implementation stage, the system was implemented, based on the topology and modeling done in the previous stage; in the last stage, which is the evaluation stage, comparing it with a crop without monitoring. The fertigation system designed consists of the following elements: a 25 liter bucket, 16 self-compensating stakes, a Bayonet micro connector, 8 meters of PVC micro tubing, 7 meters of polyethylene hose with 16 mm diameter, a 28 watt submersible electric pump, 3 poly elbows of 16 mm diameter, a 16 mm polyethylene tee and a Venturi injector; this with a monitoring system that has a sensor for soil moisture was the YL-69, the sensor for ambient temperature and humidity was selected the DHT11, for luminosity was selected the LDR 5528 and for pH water was used an analogous one, the DHT11. The sensor for soil humidity was the YL-69, the sensor for ambient temperature and humidity was selected the DHT11, for luminosity the LDR 5528 was selected and for the pH of the water an analogous one was used. This system allows injecting the mixture of water and fertilizer to 16 seedlings, located in two different beds, each seedling in a bag of substrate, one of which has a sensor system that allows monitoring soil moisture, water pH, luminosity, humidity and ambient temperature. In the last stage of the project, which is the evaluation, tables were made for the comparison between the 8 seedlings that do not have the monitoring sensors, against the other 8 seedlings that do have the monitoring system; observing that the seedlings that do not have the monitoring system, have a higher percentage of growth, this because their leaf area is greater and the seedlings that do have a monitoring system, are larger (they were planted 2 weeks earlier), therefore they need more water and fertilizer. In spite of this, the monitoring was beneficial in detecting failures in the soil humidity, and in observing that 3 of the cuttings were not well adhered due to the low humidity of the substrate and therefore their irrigation was not efficient, which was solved. In addition, it was observed that these same seedlings had good absorption of important nutrients such as phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, due to their high germination of tomatoes.
