Propagación asexual de dos especies de pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus (Haw.) Britton & Rose, Hylocereus megalanthus (K. Schum. ex Vaupel) Ralf Bauer), haciendo uso de tres sustratos en condiciones de vivero

La investigación en el cultivo de pitahaya es de suma importancia en la amazonia peruana como promisorio, la investigación titulada propagación asexual de dos especies de pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus (Haw.) Britton & Rose, Hylocereus megalanthus (K. Schum. ex Vaupel) Ralf Bauer), haciendo uso de tres sustratos en condiciones de vivero. La investigación se realizó en la ciudad universitaria de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín- Tarapoto, Provincia de San Martín, la cual tenía como objetivo determinar la mejor respuesta del desarrollo del esqueje de pitahaya, especies (Hylocereus undatus (Haw.) Britton & Rose, Hylocereus megalanthus (K. Schum. ex Vaupel) Ralf Bauer), a los tres tipos de sustratos en condiciones de vivero, bajo un diseño experimental completamente al azar DCA con arreglo factorial 3 x 2, compuesto por tres sustratos y dos especies de pitahaya y 8 tratamientos con 3 repeticiones las evaluaciones se realizaron por un periodo de 120 días en condiciones de vivero. Los resultados reportados par los indicadores de la variable dependiente son no significativos, en cuanto a número de brotes no se logró más de un brote, longitud de brotes fue de 22,92 cm en la variedad roja, y amarilla 21,75 cm, diámetro de brotes (mm) la variedad roja alcanzo 18,44 mm y la amarilla 18.01 mm, longitud de raíz de 33,94 cm de la especie roja, y peso de raíces fue de 1,08 g. En algunos indicadores evaluados se obtuvieron resultados muy prometedores donde se determinó que la utilización de aserrín mostro resultados más bajos, en cuanto a especies con mejor respuesta es la amarilla cuyos resultados están compitiendo con otras investigaciones, que utilizaron diferentes sustratos y enraizadores.

Research on the cultivation of pitahaya is of utmost importance in the Peruvian Amazon as promising culture, the research is entitled “asexual propagation of two species of pitahaya Hylocereus undatus (Haw.) Britton & Rose, Hylocereus megalanthus (K. Schum. ex Vaupel) Ralf Bauer)”, using three substrates in nursery conditions. The research was carried out at the University Campus of the National University of San Martin - Tarapoto, Province of San Martin, with the objective of determining the best response of pitahaya scion development, species (Hylocereus undatus (Haw.) Britton & Rose, Hylocereus megalanthus (K. Schum. ex Vaupel) Ralf Bauer), to the three types of substrates in nursery conditions, under a completely randomized experimental design CRD with 3 x 2 factorial arrangement, composed of three substrates and two species of pitahaya and 8 treatments with 3 replications, the evaluations were carried out for a period of 120 days under nursery conditions. The results reported for the indicators of the dependent variable are not significant, in terms of number of shoots no more than one shoot was achieved, shoot length was 22.92 cm in the red variety, and 21.75 cm in the yellow variety, for shoot diameter (mm) the red variety reached 18.44 mm and the yellow one 18.01 mm, root length was 33.94 cm for the red species, and root weight was 1.08 g. In some indicators evaluated, very promising results were obtained where it was determined that the use of sawdust showed lower results, as for species with better response is the yellow one whose results are competing with other research, which used different substrates and rooting agents.
