Anteprojeto do corredor verde do Forte de São Vicente ao Castelo, Torres Vedras

O tema da presente dissertação é a elaboração do Anteprojeto do Corredor Verde do Forte de São Vicente ao Castelo, em Torres Vedras. Foi estudada a evolução urbana de Torres Vedras ao longo da história, mais especificamente a zona envolvente ao castelo de Torres Vedras e ao Forte de São Vicente. Desde a ocupação romana da Península Ibérica passando pelas várias reconquistas do território nacional, à defesa da cidade de Lisboa face a um dos maiores poderes militares da história, com algumas desavenças internas até às intervenções contemporâneas que mantêm um constante desenvolvimento social, tecnológico e cultural. Pretende-se, através deste anteprojeto, realçar a importância dos dois monumentos mais importantes da cidade de Torres Vedras e de que forma, através da arquitetura paisagista os podemos melhorar, o corredor verde pretende melhorar os acessos e dinâmicas do trânsito pedonal e auxiliar os visitantes da cidade.

The theme of this dissertation is the elaboration of the Preliminary Project of the Green Corridor of the São Vicente Fort to the Castle, in Torres Vedras. The urban evolution of Torres Vedras has been studied throughout history, more specifically the area surrounding the castle of Torres Vedras and the fort of São Vicente From the Roman occupation of the Iberian peninsula through the various reconquest of the national territory, to the defense of the city of Lisbon in the face of one of the greatest military powers in history, with some internal disagreements until contemporary interventions that maintain a constant social, technological and cultural development It is intended, through the preliminary project, to emphasize the importance of the two monuments which bring the most visitors to the city of Torres Vedras and how, through the landscape architecture we can boost it, the green corridor intends to improve the access and dynamics of the pedestrian with specific interventions to assist its users.
