This year the national student conference in forestry took place between 25 and 26 of May and was hosted by Faculty of Silviculture and Forest Engineering from Transilvania University of Brașov. Thirty papers were presented by students, master and PhD students of profile faculties in the country: Faculty of Silviculture and Forest Engineering from Brașov, Forestry Faculty from Suceava, Faculty of Agriculture Bucharest, Faculty of Horticulture Cluj-Napoca and Faculty of Environmental Protection in Oradea. Entomology, silviculture, botany, wood study, forest harvesting, dendrometry and forest inventories, hunting, genetics, GIS were the main topics of presentations. Through this the the participants had the opportunity to share their knowledge and work, to learn new things and to crystallize their perspective on forestry and the environment.
