As the addition of macrophages to mouse lymphocytes, blastogenesis of lymphocytes stimulated with C. jejuni-LPS presented a decrease in the SI value and the incorporation of 3H-TdR. From those results, the macrophages is like to work for the suppression of lymphocyte blastogenesis. The blastogenesis of lymphocytes in the immunized mice compared to mouse non-immune, the lymphocytes obtained from mice that had been immunized with live bacteria of two strains such as Y4061 and A3309 indicate the significantly higher incorporation of 3H-TdR after 3 days, and showed a high value about twice the value of SI. The immunization with C. jejuni is like to work to promote blastogenesis of lymphocytes.
