The investigation was carried out with the aim of improving the efficiency use of water for irrigation in the rural sector in the Cotopaxi province, to decrease the demand for drinking water. This work consists of research, analysis and implementation; in particular, corresponds to the design and implementation of treatment system used water. Este trabajo consta de investigación, análisis y aplicación; en particular, esta última parte corresponde al diseño e implementación de un sistema de tratamiento de aguas grises. El proyecto propuesto se construyó en el restaurante “La Tonga”, el cual se encuentra ubicado en el sector Chan, de la Provincia de Cotopaxi.
