Identification of risks in the field of measurements using satellite systems

Английский. The increasing use of satellite systems and provision of numerous services that are based on satellite signals inclines to discuss their reliability. The main goal of designing the first satellite systems was to use them for military purposes. This is why a great emphasis is put on their performance, precision and continuity of operations. Today, satellite systems are also used for civil navigation, and form a basis for the functioning of emergency and rescue services. Therefore a reliable assessment of possible accidental or intentional risks (e.g. jamming, spoofing, meaconing) that prevent proper use of satellite signals is very important. With the current widespread use of satellite systems it is important to detect interference, identify its sources, protect the integrity of access and take actions aimed at counteracting interference. It should be known that each measurement of a position that is incorrectly made may result in a threat to the user of a navigation system.
