The physical and biological properties of a produced in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus nonspecific blood serum of animals according to an improve technology corresponded to all necessary standards. The prophylactic efficiency of nonspecific blood serum of animals was 80%, that was on 10% higher than serum of convalescents. Therapeutic effectiveness of nonspecific blood serum was 90%, that was on 8% higher than serum of convalescents

Data on development of an antigen on the basis of larvae of warble flies grubs (Hypodenna bovis) for diagnostic of spontaneous cattle hypodermosis by means of the indirect fluorescent (IFA) test and with application of blood serum and milk samples realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. Specificity and sensitivity of experimental sample of antigen for revealing of spontaneously infestated with larvae of warble flies with IFA test at hypodermotosis has made about 100%.

Determination of the positive aspects of application of a feed additive on the basis of sodium humate and malt sprouts fortified with oaky extract in diets of high-productive cows in dry period was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Cows of black-and-white breed with average body weight 600 kg and milk-yield 6000-7000 kg were used in the experiment. Cows of experimental groups in addition to their main diet were fed with the resolved additive in doses 10-20 ml/100kg of live weight. Formula of humic additive with draft name Ehkolin-3 was developed on the basis of Ehkolin additive. Ehkolin additive in its composition contained the following compounds: organic substances; mineral substances; humic substances; melanoids; reducing agents; phenolic compounds; organic acids, and total nitrogen. Research results showed that application of the analyzed additive promoted the increasing enzyme activity in blood serum. Body weight of new born calves in experimental groups was higher than in control group. Symptoms of diseases of the digestive tract disappeared in 4-5 days in the experimental calves. Cows of the experimental groups had good colostral milk with density 1056 kg/mE3 and 55% of immunoglobulins. Impregnation capacity of in one experimental group was 50% after the first insemination, and only 33,3% and 20% in the control and the second experimental group, respectively

Determination of productivity and natural resistance indexes of laying hens after application of dry multienzyme preparation Vitazim (xylanase, 3600 units/g; cellulose, 3000 units/g; beta-glucanase, 7000 units/g); as well as the specification of optimal doses the enzyme were realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Research results showed that the best indexes of egg yields of laying hens were obtained after application in the main poultry diet of enzyme preparation Vitazim in dose 500 g/t that made it possible to increase the productivity in the experimemtal group on 12%. Application of Vitazim also promoted the increasing of natural resistance level of laying hens. There was stated the positive effect of Vitazim on bactericidal activity of blood serum. Before the beginning of test this index was the level of 44,35+/-0,92 – 56,52 +/-1,63. By the 300-th day of life the bactericidal activity of blood serum in experimental group administrated Vitazim in dose 300 g/t exceeded the control idexes on 3,8%; in the second experimental group (Vitazim in dose of 500 g/h) – on 29,5%; in the third experimental group (/vitazim on dose of 700 g/h) – on 23,7%.Vitazim administration also exercised positive influence on lysozyme activity in blood serum of lying hens

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was made a hepatospecific metabolic profile of cattle blood serum for complex appraisal of liver functional condition. Age-specific peculiarities of biochemical indices including the composition of hepatospecific metabolic profile of cattle blood serum were revealed. On the basis of obtained results there were calculated the appropriate correction coefficients which must be taken into consideration in objective interpretation of laboratory research.

The modern technology applied on poultry enterprises of the Republic of Belarus made provision for high concentration of poultry population density at the comparatively small housing areas of integrated poultry farms which caused the deterioration of sanitary conditions in poultry houses, especially by the end of the growing period. Broiler chickens grown under such conditions were constantly experiencing the microbe stress which eventually caused the heightened culling and poultry losses caused by different diseases caused both by pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microflora. For the current disinfection in presence of poultry it was proposed to use sprayings with malic and succinic acids, which made it possible to realize not only the air sanation in poultry houses, but also increase broiler chicken viability. The highest bactericidal activity of apple acid aerosol against air microflora was stated within 3 hours after carrying out indoors treatment. After disinfection the general microbic air contamination decreased in 2-10 times, quantity of microorganisms of colimorphic groups and staphilococcus in 1,4-1,75 and 2-10 times, respectively, in comparison with the original air values realized before air treatment in poultry houses. In the following, there was stated the gradual increase of a level of microbic air contamination within 24 hours. The best effect of the preparation was stated against Staphylococcus. Thus, the quantity of Staphylococcus in air decreased in 10 times in comparison with initial data

The increasing number of diseases with urogenital chlamydiosis became a serious problem for the modern veterinary science. The importance of urogenital clamidiosis in the infectious pathology of animals was presented by the direct multifocal affect of urogenital system and after-effects of a disease influencing the reproductive function, as well as the potential hazard of its transformation into a source of chlamydia infections of other localization. In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus the chlamydial endometritis of cattle in the majority of cases was associated with Staphylococcus aureus in 25,7% of cows. Chlamydial endometritis of cows was usually preceded by: embryotocia (9,9%), pathological calving (4,4%), retention of placenta (14,8%), subinvolution of uterus (27,1%). The biochemical tests in trial group showed the 23% decrease of carotin on twofold decrease vitamin A. In course of the immunologic studies it was established, that dilution of A class immunoglobulins was on 31% higher in animals of a trial group in comparison with the control group. There was studied the influence of type Tf on indicators of iron transport fund of clinically healthy chickens-broilers of 46 day age; to establish a phenotype of chickens on transferrin type, the content of common iron in blood serum, common GILA, calculate indicators of the sated GILA and degrees of iron saturation. The received results lead to a conclusion: indicators of the content of common iron in serum at chickens with types Tf АВ, ВС and СD have doubtful distinctions, group of chickens with type Tf AC authentically (р0,05) is less on 1,36 mkmol/l or 8,05% in comparison with group of chickens containing type Tf AB. Values of the common GILA considerably differ at chickens-broilers between types Tf AB and Tf CD, AC and ВС. As common GILA is defined mainly by concentration of transferrin in blood serum, its values at chickens-broilers with different types can be regarded as different concentration transferrin in blood serum at these chickens. As transferrin possesses protective properties, it is possible to assume, that chickens with transferrin Tf CD type will possess the big immunity in comparison with chickens at which types Tf BC and Tf AB are established. At the same time slightly differing values of degree of iron saturation at chickens-broilers with different types of transferrin give the bases to consider, that different types of transferrin possess approximately identical GILA. | Целью работы явилось изучение влияния типа Tf на показатели транспортного фонда железа клинически здоровых цыплят - бройлеров 46 дневного возраста; установить фенотип цыплят по типу трансферрина, содержанию общего железа в сыворотке крови, общей железосвязывающей способности, рассчитать показатели насыщенной железосвязывающей способности и степени насыщения железа. Полученные результаты приводят к выводу: показатели содержания общего железа в сыворотке у цыплят с типами Tf АВ, ВС и СД имеют недостоверные различия, группа цыплят с типом Tf АС достоверно (р0,05) меньше на 1,36 мкмоль/л или 8,05% по сравнению с группой цыплят содержащих тип Tf АВ. Значения общей железосвязывающей способности значительно различаются у цыплят-бройлеров между типами Tf АВ и Tf CD, АС и ВС. Поскольку общая железосвязывающая способность определяется, главным образом, концентрацией трансферрина в сыворотке крови, то ее значения у цыплят-бройлеров с разными типами можно расценивать как разную концентрацию трансферрина в сыворотке крови у этих цыплят. Так как трансферрин обладает защитными свойствами, то можно предполагать, что цыплята с типом трансферрина Tf СД будут обладать большим иммунитетом по сравнению с цыплятами у которых установлены типы Tf ВС и Tf АВ. В то же время незначительно отличающиеся значения степени насыщения железа у цыплят-бройлеров с разными типами трансферрина дают основания считать, что разные типы трансферрина обладают примерно одинаковой железосвязывающей способностью.

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied the nonspecific resistance of lambs of Latvian Black Face breed during the colostrum and milk fed period of their growth development. In course of the experiment there were used 10 newborn lambs. Analysis of resistance was realized in accordance with a scheme: before colostral milk sucking; in 6, 12, 24 hours; in 3, 7, 14, 21 days; in 1, 2 and 3 months after birth. In lambs during the colostrum and milk fed period of growth there were marked two critical periods, which were characterized by low indicators of resistance: before colostral milk uptake and at 7-21 day-old age. Increasing of leukocytes, bactericidal, lysozymic activity of blood serum, phagocytal activity of leukocytes, crude protein and antibodies in the first days of lamb life took place due to their entrance in blood with colostral milk, just because at this time the intestines wall possessed ability to transit in native condition the antibodies, enzymes, and leukocytes. At 7-21 day-old age in connection with reduction of these factors quantity of in colostral milk, and also due to reduction of intestines capacity, their was stated that their entrance in blood of newborn lambs decreased, but at 3 month old age of lambs there were stated to form internal protective factors of resistance because of which their quantity in blood started to increase.

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were determined types of transferrins of 46-day old broiler chickens and their relation with indexes characterizing ferrum transport fund. In broilers of Smena-2 cross there were stated four transferrin phenotypes, which revealed at a electrophoregram in a form of two fractions with various mobility and intensity. The quantity of the found out phenotypes should be considered as a minimum one because it was possible to find out the infrequent forms only after realization of a very big number of research studies (for example, occurrence of some phenotypes can be 1:1000 and even lower). Perfection of electrophoresis techniques or application of other carriers (for example, polyacrylamide gel) can also increase a number of phenotypes owing to high resolving power and division of homogeneous transferrin fraction into several sub-factions. The type of transferrin actually did not render influence on the content of haemin proteins, while the indices of ferrum transport fund showed out such kind of dependence. Taking into account that total iron binding capacity (TIBC) was caused by transferrin presence in blood serum, the distinction in this indicator characterized both the transferrin content, and its transport possibilities in relation to iron. The highest content of total iron and TIBC was observed at a slow phenotype of CD tranferrin type (formed by fractions with the least mobility). Fast type of tranferrin АВ (formed by the most mobile fractions) had high enough content of the totaliron but possessed the least iron-binding ability that specifies to the worst performance capabilities of transportation of iron ions. Taking into consideration the transferrin value in formation of antibacterial immunity, it is possible to assume, that broilers with phenotype СD should be more resistant to infections.
