Мета. Оцінити якісні показники зерна сортів ячменю ярого, вирощуваного в різних ґрунтово-кліматичних умовах. Методи. Під час досліджень використовували лабораторний, розрахунковий і статистичний методи, для підготовки висновків – аналізу та синтезу. Результати. У результаті досліджень 2020–2021 рр. вдалося виявити вплив ґрунтово-кліматичних зон (Степу, Лісостепу й Полісся) та умов вирощування на такі показники якості різних сортів ячменю ярого, як вирівняність зерна і вміст білка. Так, вирівняність у різні роки випробувань коливалася від 86,7 (висока, Полісся) до 95,1% (дуже висока, Лісостеп). 2021 року завдяки сприятливим метеорологічним умовам періоду вегетації її показники вдалося збільшити, порівнюючи з 2020 р., на 4,3% у Степу, 4,6% в Лісостепу та майже на 6,0% у Поліссі. У середньому вирівняність зерна, вирощеного в різних філіях УІЕСР, зросла на 5,6%. Максимальні її значення отримано для сортів ‘Avus’ – 93,9% (Степ), ‘Novyi Svitanok’ – 94,5–96,6% (Полісся, Лісостеп). Залежно від ґрунтово-кліматичної зони та року випробування вміст білка в зерні варіювався від 10,9 (низький, Степ) до 13,4% (середній, Лісостеп). У середньому цей показник знижувався у 2021 р. на 2,5% проти 2020 р., і лише в зоні Полісся зафіксували його збільшення на 2,6%. Найвищий уміст білка виявлено в сортів ‘Істр’ – 13,5–13,9% (Степ і Лісостеп) та ‘Геркулес’ – 13,4% (Полісся). Сорти ‘Амадей’, ‘Істр’ і ‘Novyi Svitanok’ поєднали обидві господарсько-цінні ознаки. Оптимальна температура повітря та висока вирівняність сприяють збільшенню врожайності ячменю ярого. Водночас під час формування високого врожаю в культурі знижується вміст білка в зерні. Висновки. У середньому за 2020–2021 рр. вирівняність зерна ячменю ярого становила 92,3% (Степ), 95,4% (Лісостеп) і 93,2% (Полісся); вміст білка в насінні – 11,8% (Степ), 12,4% (Лісостеп) і 11,6% (Полісся). На формування якісних показників насіння ячменю ярого впливали умови вирощування, що склалися у відповідній ґрунтово-кліматичній зоні. | Purpose. To evaluate the quality indicators of spring barley seeds grown under different soil and climatic conditions. Methods. Laboratory, calculation and statistical methods were used during the research, analysis and synthesis methods were used to draw conclusions. Results. As a result of research, the dependence of spring barley quality indicators, namely: grain uniformity and protein content, on soil and climatic zones and growing conditions was revealed. Thus, grain uniformity ranged from 86.7% (high, Polissia) to 95.1% (very high, Forest Steppe) in the different test years. In 2021, thanks to favorable meteorological conditions during the growing season, its indicators increased by 4.3% in the Steppe, 4.6% in the Forest Steppe and almost 6.0% in Polissia compared to 2020. On average, the uniformity of grain grown in different bran­ches of UIPVE increased by 5.6%. The maximum values were obtained for the varieties ‘Avus’ – 93.9% (Steppe), ‘Novyi Svitanok’ – 94.5–96.6% (Polissia, Forest Steppe). Depending on the soil and climate zone and the year of the experiment, the protein content in the grain varied from 10.9 (low, Steppe) to 13.4% (medium, Forest Steppe). On ave­rage, this indicator decreased by 2.5% in 2021 compared to 2020, and only in the Polissia zone it increased by 2.6%. The highest protein content was found in the varieties ‘Istr’ – 13.5–13.9% (Steppe and Forest Steppe) and ‘Hercules’ – 13.4% (Polissia). The varieties ‘Amadei’, ‘Istr’ and ‘Novyi Svitanok’ combined both economic and valuable traits. Optimum air temperature and high grain uniformity cont­ribute to increasing the yield of spring barley. At the same time, during the formation of a high yield in the culture, the protein content in the grain decreases. Conclusions. It was revealed that, on average, in 2020–2021, the uniformity of spring barley grain was 92.3% (Steppe), 95.4% (Forest Steppe) and 93.2% (Polissia); the protein content in the grains was 11.8% (Steppe), 12.4% (Forest Steppe) and 11.6% (Polissia). The formation of quality indicators of spring barley seeds was influenced by the growing conditions in the relevant soil and climatic zone.

The fat content was in the range of 2.1–5.3% with the maximum value in the lines No 3 and No 7 – 4.67–5.26%. The protein content in ‘Anakonda’ seeds and No 1 and No 9 lines was 36–37%, in standard varieties – at the level of 29.5–35.63%. A comparison of new non-pubescent lines with standard varieties and the most productive varieties ‘Diamant’ and ‘Adamos’, which are included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine and meet the requirements for efficient use in fodder production. Важливими господарсько-цінними ознаками при цьому є кількісні та якісні показники насіння. Відсутність опушення рослин є унікальним.Методи. Польові, спеціальні, лабораторні та математично-статистичні. Результати. Мінімальний уміст жиру в насінні – 20,88% відзначено в неопушеного сорту ‘Кобра’, у ліній № 305 та № 22 – 23,73 і 25,02% відповідно. Високим умістом жиру характеризувалися сорти ‘Алмаз’ і ‘Антрацит’ – 24,08 і 25,83%. Уміст білка в зеленій масі перспективних ліній був дуже низьким – до 16%. Уміст жиру був у межах від 2,1 до 5,3% з максимальними значеннями в ліній № 3 і № 7 – 4,67 і 5,26% відповідно. Уміст білка в насінні ‘Анаконда’ та ліній № 1 і № 9 був на рівні 36–37%, у сортів-стандартів – 29,57–35,63%. Порівняно нові лінії без опушення із сортами-стандартами та найурожайнішими сортами ‘Алмаз’ і ‘Адамос’, які занесені до Державного реєстру сортів рослин України та відповідають вимогам ефективного використання в кормовиробництві.Висновки. Відсутність опушення в рослин сої – надзвичайно рідкісне й нетипове явище. У Держреєстрі такі сорти відсутні. Понад 50 неопушених ліній культури перевищують показники господарської придатності національних стандартів і сучасних сортів. У процесі створення нових сортів з підвищеним умістом жиру в насінні доцільно використовувати неопушені лінії № 305 (23,73%) і № 22 (25,02%). Для створення кормових сортів у селекційний процес слід залучати лінії № 4, № 5, № 7, № 8, які мали в зеленій масі понад 15% протеїну. Високою харчовою цінністю характеризується лінія ‘Анаконда’ з мінімальним умістом в олії ліноленової кислоти (6,08%). Підвищений уміст олеїнової кислоти відзначено в сортів ‘Адамос’ (35,01%), ‘Алмаз’ (33,53%), ‘Аметист’ (31,39%).

Польові, лабораторні – визначення водоутримувальної здатності листя у важливі фенологічні фази; структурний аналіз; оцінювання посухостійкості: методика ґрунтується на здатності насіння сортів проростати у розчинах цукру з високим осмотичним тиском; аналізи якості; статистичний аналіз. Результати. Сучасні сорти пшениці озимої, маючи високий показник потенційної врожайності, у виробничих умовах реалізують його на 45–50%, оскільки їх рівень адаптивності ще недостатній для забезпечення гарантовано стабільних урожаїв. Тому створення сортів з високим адаптивним потенціалом, а також пошук шляхів оцінювання селекційного матеріалу за цим показником, залишається важливим завданням сучасної практичної селекції. Серед вивчених в умовах без зрошення сортів пшениці озимої селекції Інституту зрошуваного землеробства НААН України, адаптивних за ознаками висоти рослин і врожайності, існує генетично обумовлена відмінність між посухостійкими зразками, що дає змогу виділяти кращі з них. Це сортозразки висотою 80–90 см з урожайним потенціалом 10,5 т/га і показниками якості зерна: уміст білка – 14%, седиментація – 55–75 мл, склоподібність – 95%, кількість клейковини – 32%, якість клейковини – І–ІІ група. Висновки. В основу новоствореного селекційного матеріалу і сортів покладено результати досліджень щодо посухо- та жаростійкості рослин пшениці озимої, проведені в найважливіші періоди їх онтогенезу на двох фонах (зрошення – за надійного вологозабезпечення та без нього – за нестачі вологи) в умовах змін клімату степової зони. Сорти Інституту зрошуваного землеробства НААН з комплексною адаптивною здатністю пройшли державне сортовипробування і придатні для впровадження у виробництві господарств Півдня України.

Purpose. To study the adaptive signs of varieties and breeding material of winter wheat developed at the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Methods. Field, laboratory (determination of the water-holding capacity of leaves at major phenological stages), structural analysis, drought tolerance estimation (the method is based on the seed ability to germinate in sugar solution with high osmotic pressure), qua­lity analysis, and statistical analysis. Results. Having a high-yiel­­ding potential, modern varieties of winter wheat realize only 45–50% of their yield potential as their adaptability is still insufficient to ensure guaranteed stable yield. Therefore, to create highly adaptive varieties and to search me­thods of evaluating breeding material in terms of adaptability remains a challenge for modern practical breeding. Among the studied in rainfed conditions winter wheat varieties of the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture which are adaptable in terms of plant height and yield, there is a genetically determined difference between drought-resistant genotypes, which makes it possible to select the best of them. These genotypes are 80–90 cm tall, they ensure a yield potential of 10.5 t/ha and the following quality indicators of grain: protein content 14%, sedimentation 55–75 ml, kernel hardness 95%, gluten content 32%, gluten quality I–II group Conclusions. The research on the drought and heat resistance of winter wheat carried out in the most important ontogenetic periods against two backgrounds – irrigated and rainfed – in conditions of climate change of the steppe zone served a basis for new breeding material and varie­ties. The Institute of Irrigated Agriculture’s varieties that have complex adaptive capacity have passed state variety examination and recognized as suitable for introduction in the farms in the South of Ukraine. | Мета. Результаты. Современные сорта пшеницы озимой, имея высокий показатель потенциальной урожайности, в производственных условиях реализуют его на 45–50%, пос­кольку их уровень адаптивности еще недостаточен для обеспечения гарантированно стабильных урожаев. Поэтому создание сортов с высоким адаптивным потенциалом, а также поиск путей оценки селекционного материала по этому показателю остается важной задачей современной практической селекции. Среди изученных в условиях без орошения сортов озимой пшеницы селекции Института орошаемого земледелия НААН, адаптивных по признакам высоты растений и урожайности, существует генетически обусловленная разница между засухоустойчивыми образцами, что позволяет выделять лучшие из них. Это сортообразцы высотой 80–90 см с урожайным потенциалом 10,5 т/га и показателями качества зерна: содержание белка – 14%, седиментация – 55–75 мл, стекловидность – 95%, количество клейковины – 32%, качество клейковины – I–II группа. Выводы. В основу созданного нового селекционного материала и сортов положены результаты исследований по засухо- и жаростойкости растений озимой пшеницы, проведенные в важнейшие периоды их онтогенеза на двух фонах (орошение – при надежной влагообеспеченности и без него – при недостатке влаги) в условиях изменений климата степной зоны. Сорта Института орошаемого земледелия НААН с комплексной адаптивной способностью прошли государственное сортоиспытание и пригодны для внед­рения в производстве хозяйств Юга Украины.

Purpose. To study the influence of fractional composition of seed material on productive properties of spring rape seeds of the ‘Magnat’ variety and ‘MVM’ (‘Gladiator’) variety sample. Methods. Field investigations, laboratory tests, statistical analysis. Results. During 2013–2014, the influence of sown seeds of different size fractions (up to 2,5 g; 2,6–3,5 g; 3,6 g and more) on the indices of productivity of spring rape varie­ties was studied. It was found that over the years of study field germination of sown fractions of seeds in ‘Magnat’ variety averaged 83.5%, in ‘MSM’ variety sample – 86.7%. During the periods of seedling emergence and harvesting, the density of spring rape crops varied depending on relevant fraction of sown seeds. In the ‘Magnat’ variety, photosynthetic potential of crops ranged from 1.1 to 1.3 million m2/ha, in ‘MSM’ variety sample – from 1.2 to 1.6 million m2/ha. Depending on the seed fractions applied, ‘Magnat’ variety crops during the gro­wing season accumulated organic biomass from 2.05 to 2.36 g/m2 per day, ‘MSM’ sample variety – from 1.83 to 2.10 g/m2 per day. Conclusions. It was established that different fractions of spring rape seeds sown in the Northern Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine affected the indices of germinating energy and laboratory germination, crop density formation, leaf surface area and intensity of photosynthesis process (crop photosynthetic potential, net photosynthesis performance). The highest indices of productivity and yield in the ‘Magnat’ variety was ensured by large-seeded fraction (3,6 g and more), in the ‘MVM’ (‘Gladia­tor’) sample variety – by small-seeded fraction (up to 2,5 g).

Мета. Удосконалити адаптивні технології вирощування пшениці озимої, які забезпечать заплановану густоту стебло­стою та продуктивність колосу, що дасть можливість сформувати максимальний урожай з високою якістю зерна. Методи. Польові, лабораторні дослідження, математично-статистичний аналіз. Результати. Протягом 2011–2015 рр. проводили спостереження за процесом формування продуктивності пшениці озимої ‘Бенефіс’ за різних технологій вирощування. Зокрема, наведено показники щільності стеблостою, кількості закладених квіток, колосків і зернівок у колосі, їхньої редукції за етапами органогенезу, величини потенційної врожайності пшениці озимої і ступінь реалізації її у фактичній. Встановлено, що такі елементи технології вирощування як дози добрив, система захисту рослин позитивно впливали на щільність продуктивного стеблостою з IV до XII етапів органогенезу. Найбільшу кількість збережених стебел (695 шт./м2) до XII етапу відмічали у варіанті з унесенням на фоні побічної продукції попередника Р135К135N60(ІІ)+N75(ІV)+N45(VІІ), інтегрованого захисту. Реалізація продуктивних стебел за цих умов складала 41,3%. Величина втрат стебел з IV до XII етапу органогенезу коливалась в межах 657–986 шт./м2 залежно від доз добрив, системи захисту. Кількість квіток (зерен) у колосі з V до XII етапу змінювалась залежно від умов живлення рослин і зростала із збільшенням доз внесених добрив в колоссі обох порядків. За кількістю квіток у колосі інтегрований захист мав перевагу над мінімальним. Найбільшу кількість квіток з V до IX етапу отримали за внесення на фоні побічної продукції попередника Р135К135N60(ІІ)+N75(ІV)+N45(VІІ), інтегрованого захисту. Висновки. Встановлено, що в умовах північної частини Лісостепу України на темно-сірому опідзоленому ґрунті найвищу продуктивність пшениці озимої отримано за інтенсивної енергонасиченої технології вирощування з внесенням Р135К135N60(ІІ)+75(ІV)+45(VІІІ) на фоні побічної продукції попередника за інтегрованої системи захисту. Ця технологія забезпечувала урожайність 6,56 т/га зерна першого класу якості групи А.

Purpose. Improve adaptive technologies for growing winter wheat, which will ensure the planned stem density and the productivity of the ear, what will allow forming the maximum yield with high grain quality. Methods. Field, laboratory stu­dies, mathematical and statistical analysis.Results. During 2011–2015 the process of forming the productivity of winter wheat ‘Benefis’ variety with various cultivation technologies was monitored. In particular, indicators of the stem density, the number of initiated flowers, spikelets and grains in the ear, their reduction according to the stages of organogenesis, the potential yield of winter wheat and the degree to which it is actually realized are given. It was revealed that such elements of cultivation technology as doses of fertilizers, plant protection system positively influenced the density of the productive stems from the IV to XII stages of organogenesis. The largest number of preserved stems (695 pcs./m2) before the XII stage was noted in the variant with the introduction of Р135К135N60(II)+N75(IV)+N45(VIII) against the background of precursor by-products and in the case of integrated protection.The implementation of productive stems under these conditions was 41.3% quantity of the loss of stems from the IV to XII stage of organogenesis ranged from 657–986 pcs./m2 depending on doses of fertilizers and a protection system. The number of flowers (grains) in the ear from the V to the XII stage changed depending on the nutritional conditions of the plants and enhanced with increasing doses of fertili­zers in the ear of both orders. By the number of flowers per spike, integrated protection had an advantage over the minimum. The largest number of flowers from stage V to IX was received for introducing P135K135N60 (II) + N75 (IV) + N45 (VII) against the background of by-products of the predecessor and in the case of integrated protection.Conclusions. It was found that in the conditions of the northern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine on the dark gray podzolized soil, the highest productivity of winter wheat was obtained by intensive energy-saturated cultivation technology with the introduction of Р135К135N60(II)+75(IV)+45(VIII) on the background of by-products of the precursor system and in the case of integrated protection. This technology ensure yield of 6.56 t/ha of grade 1 grain of A quality Group | Мета. Удосконалити адаптивні технології вирощування пшениці озимої, які забезпечать заплановану густоту стебло­стою та продуктивність колосу, що дасть можливість сформувати максимальний урожай з високою якістю зерна. Методи. Польові, лабораторні дослідження, математично-статистичний аналіз. Результати. Протягом 2011–2015 рр. проводили спостереження за процесом формування продуктивності пшениці озимої ‘Бенефіс’ за різних технологій вирощування. Зокрема, наведено показники щільності стеблостою, кількості закладених квіток, колосків і зернівок у колосі, їхньої редукції за етапами органогенезу, величини потенційної врожайності пшениці озимої і ступінь реалізації її у фактичній. Встановлено, що такі елементи технології вирощування як дози добрив, система захисту рослин позитивно впливали на щільність продуктивного стеблостою з IV до XII етапів органогенезу. Найбільшу кількість збережених стебел (695 шт./м2) до XII етапу відмічали у варіанті з унесенням на фоні побічної продукції попередника Р135К135N60(ІІ)+N75(ІV)+N45(VІІ), інтегрованого захисту. Реалізація продуктивних стебел за цих умов складала 41,3%. Величина втрат стебел з IV до XII етапу органогенезу коливалась в межах 657–986 шт./м2 залежно від доз добрив, системи захисту. Кількість квіток (зерен) у колосі з V до XII етапу змінювалась залежно від умов живлення рослин і зростала із збільшенням доз внесених добрив в колоссі обох порядків. За кількістю квіток у колосі інтегрований захист мав перевагу над мінімальним. Найбільшу кількість квіток з V до IX етапу отримали за внесення на фоні побічної продукції попередника Р135К135N60(ІІ)+N75(ІV)+N45(VІІ), інтегрованого захисту. Висновки. В течение 2011–2015 гг. проводили наблюдение за процессом формирования продуктивности озимой пшеницы сорта ‘Бенефіс’ при различных технологиях выращивания. В частности, приведены показатели плотности стеблестоя, количества заложенных цветков, колосков и зерновок в колосе, их редукции по этапам органогенеза, величины потенциальной урожайности пшеницы озимой и степень реализации ее в фактической. Установлено, что такие элементы технологии выращивания как дозы удоб­рений, система защиты растений положительно влияли на плотность продуктивного стеблестоя с IV до XII этапа органогенеза. Наибольшее количество сохранившихся стеблей (695 шт./м2) до XII этапа отмечали в варианте с внесением на фоне побочной продукции предшественника Р135К135N60(II)+N75(IV)+N45(VIII), интегрированной защиты. Реализация продуктивных стеблей при этих условиях сос­тавляла 41,3%. Величина потерь стеблей с IV до XII этапа органогенеза колебалась в пределах 657–986 шт./м2 в зависимости от доз удобрений, системы защиты. Количество цветков (зерен) в колосе с V до XII этапа менялась в зависимости от условий питания растений и росла с увеличением доз вносимых удобрений в колосе обоих порядков. По количеству цветков в колосе интегрированная защита имела преимущество над минимальной. Наибольшее количество цветков с V до IX этапа получили при внесении на фоне заделки побочной продукции предшественника Р135К135N60(II)+N75(IV)+N45(VIII), интегрированной защиты. Выводы. Установлено, что в условиях северной части Лесостепи Украины на темно-серой оподзоленной почве наибольшая продуктивность озимой пшеницы получена при интенсивной энергонасыщенной технологии выращивания с внесением Р135К135N60(II)+75(IV)+45(VIII) на фоне побочной продукции предшественника при интегрированной сис­теме защиты. Эта технология обеспечивала урожайность 6,56 т/га зерна первого класса качества группы А.

To elaborate winter wheat cultivation technologies based on balanced fertilizer system that combines application of mineral fertilizers and the increase of their efficiency by the use of preparations with microelements. Methods. Field and laboratory studies, mathematical and statistical analysis. Results. During 2011–2013, the effect of cultivation technologies on the formation of yield and quality of winter wheat varie­ty ‘Benefis’ (pea is a predecessor) was studied. In case of alternative technologies that provided adding only by-products of the predecessor, the yield of winter wheat was 3.73 t/ha when using integrated protection system, and it was increased to 4.22 t/ha with grain quality of the 4th–5th class of the group B when foliar dressing was applied. Resource saving technologies of cultivation with restricted use of fertilizers (Р45К45N30(II)+30(IV)) provided productivity at the level of 5.19–5.61 t/ha with grain quality of the 2nd–3rd class of the group A. Grain yield of 6.27 t/ha of the 2nd class quality was obtained by the use of intensive cultivation technology, which included application of mineral fertilizers (Р90К90N30(II)+60(IV)+30(VIII)) in addition to the use of predecessor’s by-products and foliar dressing. The highest yield of grain (6.71 t/ha) on average during all years of the study with the 1st class of the group A quality was provided by energy-intensive technology, which included application of P135K135N60(II)+75(IV)+45(VIII) with embedding of predecessor’s by-products into the soil and foliar dressing. Conclusions. It was established that in the northern part of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine the highest productivity of winter wheat was obtained in dark gray podzolic soils using the energy-intensive technology with application of P135K135N60(II)+75(IV)+45(VIII) against the background of predecessor’s by-products embedded into the soil in case of integrated plant protection, and foliar dres­sing. This technology ensured the yield of 6.71 t/ha with grain quality of the 1st class of the group A.
