Purpose. Reveal the peculiarities of the formation of national varietal resources of grapes, considering current state of the market, needs of consumers, problems and prospects of the viticulture industry in Ukraine. Results. The monitoring of the national varietal resources of the common grape vine in the chronology of the formation of a well-known varie­ties collection used both for food purposes and in the further breeding process. As of the beginning of 2019, 51 grape varieties of the common grape vine are included in the State Regis­ter of Plant Varieties suitable for dissemination in Ukraine. In recent years, there has been a tendency to a decrease in the number of new varieties, reduction in the total area of vineyards and young plantings. Technical varie­ties of the crop dominate in the Register of plant varieties of Ukraine; the assortment of the table grapes and universal groups needs to be expanded. The largest share among the common varieties in Ukraine is occupied by ones of domestic breeding. The results of monitoring of renewal dynamics of the common grape vine varieties in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine over the past five years indicate a negative trend: 2013 – 11 varieties, 2015 – two, 2018 – one variety. Therefore, the issues of the formation of national varietal resources of grapes are relevant and require a scientific approach to the breeding process, the state scientific and technical examination of the application for a variety of plants and their commercial circulation. New varieties of the common grape vine are included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine based on the results of the state scientific and technical expertise on the plant variety; it provides for the establishment of criteria for distinctness, uniformity and stability using the morphological description of the identification signs of vegetative and generative organs of grapes and the determination of economically valuable indicators of new varieties. Conclusions. The total number of the common grape vine varieties in Ukraine for the period 2015–2018 decreased, due to the low level of applications for new varieties of both domestic and foreign breeding. The search for modern methods and directions of breeding, the use of new methods for crop varieties and clones identification remains a reserve for expanding the common grape vine assortment

Мета. Розкрити особливості формування національних сортових ресурсів винограду, з огляду на сучасний стан ринку, потреби споживачів, проблеми та перспективи галузі виноградарства в Україні.Результати. Здійснено моніторинг національних сортових ресурсів винограду справжнього в хронології формування колекції загальновідомих сортів, які використовують як для продовольчих цілей, так і в подальшому селекційному процесі. Станом на початок 2019 р. до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні включено 51 сорт винограду справжнього. Протягом останніх років спостерігається тенденція до зменшення кількості нових сортів, скорочення загальної площі виноградників та закладання молодих насаджень. У Реєстрі сортів рослин України домінують сорти культури технічного напряму використання, потребує розширення сортимент столової та універсальної групи. Найбільшу частку серед поширених на території України займають сорти вітчизняної селекції. Результати моніторингу динаміки сортооновлення винограду справжнього в Державному реєстрі сортів рослин України за останні п’ять років свідчать про  негативну тенденцію: 2013 р. – 11 сортів, 2015 р. – два, 2018 р. – один сорт. Тому питання формування національних сортових ресурсів винограду справжнього є актуальним та потребує наукового підходу до селекційного процесу, державної науково-технічної експертизи заявки на сорт рослин та  їх  комерційного обігу.  Нові сорти винограду справжнього включають до Державного реєстру сортів рослин України на підставі результатів державної науково-технічної експертизи на сорт рослин, яка передбачає встановлення критеріїв відмітності, однорідності та стабільності методом морфологічного опису ідентифікаційних ознак вегетативних і генеративних органів винограду й визначення господарськоцінних показників нових сортів.Висновки. Загальна кількість сортів винограду справжнього в Україні за період 2015–2018 рр. зменшилася, що зумовлено низьким рівнем подання заявок на нові сорти як вітчизняної, так і зарубіжної селекції. Резервом розширення сортименту винограду справжнього залишається пошук сучасних методів та напрямів селекції, застосування новітніх методів ідентифікації сортів і клонів культури | Purpose. Раскрыть особенности формирования национальных сортовых ресурсов винограда, учитывая современное состояние рынка, потребности потребителей, проб­лемы и перспективы отрасли виноградарства в Украине. Результаты. Осуществлен мониторинг национальных сортовых ресурсов винограда культурного в хронологии формирования коллекции общеизвестных сортов, которые используют как в продовольственных целях, так и в дальнейшем в селекционном процессе. По состоянию на начало 2019 г. в Государственный реестр сортов растений, пригодных для распространения в Украине, включено 51 сорт винограда культурного. В последние годы наблюдается тенденция к уменьшению количества новых сортов, сокращение общей площади виноградников и закладки молодых насаждений. В Реестре сортов растений Украины доминируют сорта культуры технического направления использования, нуждается в расширении асортимент столовой и универсальной группы. Наибольшую удельную долю среди распространенных на территории Украины занимают сорта отечественной селекции. Результаты мониторинга динамики сортообновления винограда культурного в Государственном реестре сортов растений Украины за последние пять лет свидетельствуют о негативной тенденции: 2013 г. – 11 сортов, 2015 г. – два, 2018 г. – один сорт. Поэтому вопросы формирования национальных сортовых ресурсов винограда культурного актуальны и требуют научного подхода к селекционному процессу, государственной научно-технической экспертизе заявки на сорт растений и их коммерческого оборота. Новые сор­та винограда культурного включают в Государственный реестр сортов растений Украины на основании результатов государственной научно-технической экспертизы на сорт растений, которая предусматривает установление критериев отличия, однородности и стабильнос­ти методом морфологического описания идентификационных признаков вегетативных и генеративных органов винограда и определения хозяйственно-ценных показателей новых сортов. Выводы. Общее количество сортов винограда культурного в Украине за период 2015–2018 гг. уменьшилось, что обусловлено низким уровнем подачи заявок на новые сорта как отечественной, так и зарубежной селекции. Резервом расширения сортимента винограда культурного остается поиск современных методов и направлений селекции, применение новейших методов идентификации сортов и клонов культуры.
