2015
Ghobadi, Morteza | Jafari, Hamidreza | Nabi Bidhendi, Gholamreza | Ahmadipari, Masoumehe
The petrochemical industry makes environmental impact and land suitability assessment is important for the petrochemical industry. The objective of this research is to develop a model to analyze the land suitability and site selection for petrochemical idusrty through a spatial-geographical study and environmental palnning and management approach. To this purpose, the land suitability and site selection were performed using the PROMETHEE II and ELECTERE III methods in combination with GIS. These methods were used to undertake the study objective in three stages. Firstly, a review of the literature led to the formulation of analytic land suitability importance for site selection of petrochemical idusrty. Secondly, the major factors influencing the identification of suitable locations for petrochemical idusrty were identified using experts. The outranking methods were used to determine final zoning map. The final zoning map shows about 16% ( 45.207 Km2) by PROMETHEE II and 10% ( 29.207 Km2) by ELECTERE III is suitable for development of petrochemical industry. Sensitivity analysis shows suitable area is consistent with each of input factors in the model. So, this model is suitable to analyze land suitability and site selection for petrochemical idusrty.

2015
Zali, Nader | Mansouri Birjandi, Sara
The planning literature has passed the prediction, forecasting and exploration of future concepts and has reached to futurology and foresight. Regional development planning is not exempt from this and needs a futuristic approach in order to be used after being planned. Identifying the future uncertainties and the underlying assumptions in the regional development planning by which the long-term plans have been established, is one of the most important main fields in the identification of problems and facing challenges of development documents. Post-planning also deals with the success or failure evaluation of the developed policy and planning in the future time horizon. Assumption Based Planning (ABP) is one of the post-planning methods, which could be used in preparing stable and compatible programs. This research is a combination of documentary and surveying methods in terms of the research type and is analytical and exploratory based on the new methods of futurology science in terms of the research nature which is conducted by a combination of qualitative and quantitative models. Data collection methods and techniques Delphi questionnaire was used and questionnaires are experts in developing and development issues surrounding region During two separate questionnaires have been completed. In this way, the correlation between each strategy uncertainty with mining experts from both questioners (strategies, inventory uncertainty) is calculated. The results show which areas are considered the most vulnerable strategies. Analysis of the results indicate that utilizing the ABP could be implemented in the regional development planning, which helps planners to have a consensus and commitment to the output. Thus, weaknesses and waivers existing in the long-term regional development planning could be identified and reviewed by utilizing the ABP.

2014
Mirehei, Mohammad
Balancing in territories settlements, especially in the urban systems, is important for spatial planning. According to studies carried out in a non-equilibrium state of the urban system and the primacy phenomenon is evident at national and regional levels in Iran. The purpose of this paper is to explore the urban hierarchy of Qom province, especially in the course of time. This study, is descriptive and analytical method and developmental research by purpose. Documentary methods have been used for data collection. In order to analyze the urban system has been used many indicators (primacy, two city, Mehta, Moomaw&Alwosabi, Kinsburg, scattering coefficient, Herfindahl, Shannon entropy, size- rank and improved size-rank). The results show province of Qom has 6 city that all cities don’t have record high urbanization except the city of Qom. Also, all indicators show that the city of Qom has the strongest urban prime rate, concentration and imbalance. Even become the province of Qom and the formation of new urban areas couldn't reduce imbalances.

2014
Safiisabet, Naser | Esmaailzadeh, Hassan
During last two decades, rural-urban linkages in the form of regional interaction networks have been analyzed particularly in the geographical literature. In respect to economic linkages, periodic markets network could be assumed as one of the most important markets. In the sustainable social- economic conditions, this can result in positive and reciprocal functions. This study aims to determine the role of periodic markets network in regional development around Tehran metropolis. In this descriptive-analytical research, 199 sellers and 384 buyers in 49 periodic markets surrounding Tehran Metropolis were studied. To measure the effective factors in the establishment of periodic markets network and regional development, five indicators such as population size, share of urban wholesalers, share of urban and rural street vendors, share of agricultural and non-agricultural products and share of intra-area and regional transportation network were chosen. Results showed that population size and the convergent role of rural and urban street vendors associated with the development of intra-area transportation network were effective in the establishment and sustainability of rural and urban periodic markets network and regional development. It is proposed to note promoting share of direct supply of rural agricultural and non-agricultural products to these markets for rural- urban balanced development.

2013
Yasouri, Majid
This study was designed to investigate the state of the industry in the city of Mashhad, location criteria and how it is done. Nyazmany data were collected from administrative apparatus. No action has been produced in layers. Studies show that the industrial units without consideration of the physical environment and the lack of urban space (number of units within the service area) were located. Current status of plants and the need to transmit polluting industries within the urban context. So, check the appropriate areas for new settlements to transfer these units to develop strategies of the main industrial estates and organized industrial activities in the city of Mashhad. Location and description of the complete database design and conceptual modeling has attempted to locate the new town. The results indicate that in ten years time horizon of about two thousand acres of land for expansion needs.

2013
Ashournejad, Qadir | Faraji Sabokbar, Hassan Ali | Alavi Panah, Seyed Kazem | Nami, Mohammad Hassan
Financial and commercial centers (i.e. banks and financial and credit institutes) are considered as an important activity of urban spaces and paying attention to their location and installation site is one of the most important parameters in their success and beneficence. In this study, in order to identify the optimal location for installation of financial and commercial centers the RBFLN neural Network which is a transformed model of Radius Based Function neural Network (RBFNN) was used in combine with ORESTE multi-criteria technique. Two and multi-classes data of economic, commercial, educational, cultural, sanitary, therapeutic, recreational, administrative, population, and transition were entered to the neural network as multi-dimensional vectors based on radius of influence. 69 sample branches and 34 un-optimal points were used for network’s learning. The results indicates the two- classes RBFLN network with 800 repetition times with the least learning and classification error as the most appropriate class in identifying the optimal places for installation of financial and commercial centers (Screening Phase).

Reasonable exploitation from natural resources and organizing land use based on its ecological potentials, has an important role in the environmental management and preventing environmental degradation and having a sustainable development. Marvdasht town has been faced with immigration and the result of that is increasing population and changing land use. Regarding the climate and natural properties of the region especially the existence of an alluvial plain and permanent river, this region has great potentials for development. Therefore, for better organizing the land and agricultural activities, the ecological potential of the region and the land suitability of agricultural activities were considered to help sustainable development Planners This study for better performing the ecological model of Dr. Makhdoum in which the Weight and importance of parameters are not considered, has used the Fuzzy AHP and GIS and has identified and determined the suitable areas for agricultural activities within the area of Marvdasht County. The results of doing the Makhdoum ecological potential model with Fuzzy logic in Marvdasht County have showed the existence of all the seven categories of the model in the studied area. Also the results from the sensitivity analysis of the study shows that fuzzy base approaches can be used for increasing the accuracy in determining the land use of agricultural areas.
