Tuz Stresi ve Farklı Kalsiyum Dozlarının Domateste Verim ve Kalite Üzerine Etkisi

Bu çalışmada, topraksız tarım koşullarında farklı tuz stresi ve kalsiyum dozlarının domateste verim ve kalite üzerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada üç farklı tuz dozu (2, 4 ve 6 dS/m) ve dört farklı kalsiyum dozu (0, 50, 100 ve 200 ppm) modifiye edilmiş Hoagland besin solüsyonu ile birlikte bitkilere uygulanmıştır. Standart Hoagland çözeltisi 2 dS/m olarak hazırlanmış ve yüksek tuz konsantrasyonları için (4 ve 6 dS/m) NaCl kullanılmıştır. Yüksek tuzluluk (4 ve 6) pazarlanabilir verimde düşüşe neden olurken, yüksek kalsiyum dozları (100 ve 200 ppm) tuzluluğun verim üzerindeki etkisini önemli ölçüde azaltmıştır. En yüksek tuz konsantrasyonunda (6 dS/m) kalsiyumun 100 ppm'den 200 ppm'e yükselmesi pazarlanabilir verimi 122,51 ton/ha'dan 199,74 ton/ha'a çıkarmıştır. Yaprak klorofil içeriği (SPAD) tuz konsantrasyonundan etkilenmezken, artan kalsiyum dozları klorofil içeriğinde artışa neden olmuştur. Özellikle yüksek tuz stresi altında (6 dS/m) kalsiyumun klorofil artışına etkisi daha belirgin olmuştur. Meyvede elektriksel iletkenlik, suda çözünebilir kuru madde miktarı (Brix) ve titre edilebilir asit miktarı tuzluluk arttıkça artarken, pH azalmıştır. Yüksek tuzlulukta kalsiyum arttıkça Brix ve titre edilebilir asit miktarı azalmıştır. Sonuç olarak, besin solüsyonunun tuz konsantrasyonunun yüksek olması pazarlanabilir ve toplam verimde önemli düzeyde düşüşe neden olurken, tuz stresi altında yüksek kalsiyum uygulaması verim kaybını azaltmıştır. Tuz stresi x kalsiyum interaksiyonu meyve kalite parametrelerini önemli düzeyde etkilemiştir.

Oat is an important cereal used as human food, animal feed and medicinal plant. This study was conducted to determined yield and some physical quality characteristics of 22 oat genotypes in Turkey in rainfall and supplemented irrigation conditions during 2016-2017 growing season at Yozgat/Yerköy, Turkey. Experiments were carried out in randomized complete block design with three replications. In the trials, plant height, panicle length, grain yield, biological yield, thousand grain weight, hectoliter weight and groat percentage were investigated. İn non-irrigated conditions, plant height, panicle length, grain yield, biological yield, thousand grain weight, hectolitre weight and groat percentage were between 54.2-86.2 cm, 14.1-23.3 cm, 116.9-288.1 kg da-1, 593.1-938.9 kg da-1, 24.1- 38.5 g, 40.4-48.4 kg and 63.5-73.6% whereas in supplemented irrigation conditions, plant height, panicle length, grain yield, biological yield, thousand grain weight, hectolitre weight and groat percentage were 65.0-98.7 cm, 15.3-25.7 cm, 226.1-439.6 kg da-1, 979.2-1381.9 kg da-1, 24.2-39.3 g, 43.5-51.0 kg and 62.5-73.0%, respectively. Supplemented irrigation application increased both grain yield and biological yield approximately 1.5 times compared to application based on rainfall. Genotypes G9, G10, G12, G13, G14, G17, G18, G21 and G22 had the highest grain yield in experiments irrigated with both rainfall and supplemented irrigation.

Use of sewage sludge in agriculture is an alternative disposal technique for this waste. Accordingly, the effects of using the sludge obtained from Sivas Waste Water Treatment Plant in different doses (0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% (w/w) and chemical fertilization) on the yield and nutrient concentration of tomato plants were investigated. The study was carried out with three replications according to the experimental pattern of randomized plots in the plastic pots with the capacity of 3 kg under the greenhouse conditions of Plant and Animal Production Department of Sivas Cumhuriyet University. It has been determined that the weight of the plants roots, stems and green components dry matter increases due to the increasing sewage sludge application and the highest efficiency is in the sewage sludge application of 5%. In addition, it has been determined that the concentrations of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) which are among the macro nutrients, tend to increase depending on the increasing dose of the sewage sludge. The concentrations of copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), and zinc (Zn) which are among the micro nutrients, increased with the increasing amount of sludge. In this context, it is thought that the sludge can be used in plant breeding, provided that it falls within the boundaries of the legal legislation.

According to FAOSTAT 2017 data, Turkey located ranks second after China in terms of world honey production and ranks third in terms of the number of colonies. According to Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) 2018 data, Turkey had 7.904.502 colonies and total honey production of 107.920 tons while the average honey yield was calculated 13.7 kg per colony. It is economically important that informing to beekeepers and policymakers the expected change in the number of colonies and honey yield in the next years. This study aims to estimate the production values for the next 5 years by using the number of colonies and honey yields of the past years. For this purpose, the next five years (2019-2023) forecast has been made by using data from the last 50 years (1969-2018). ARIMA (1,1,0) first-degree autoregressive time series model was used for the number of colonies and honey yields from the data obtained from TURKSTAT and FAOSTAT. SPSS package program was used for forecasting. According to the results, compared to 2018 an increase of 1.3% and 7.4% is expected in the number of colonies between 2019 and 2023. In addition, the honey yield is expected to increase between 2.77% and 3.12% compared to 2018. It seems that increasing the number of colonies and expecting a less increase in honey yield per colony will increase the production costs in the next years. Hence, consumers will consume honey and honeybee products at a higher price. It can be suggested that, beekeepers should take care about increasing the number of colonies as well as increase the honey yield per colony to beekeeping economy, consumers and the economy of the country.

The aim of this study is to investigate; the effects of organic and inorganic fertilizer applications on dry matter yield of different plant parts and microelement content of grain in two different buckwheat varieties. While main plots were formed by Aktaş and Güneş buckwheat varieties, sub plots were formed by 5 different fertilizer types (Control, Urea and Worm, Chicken, Cattle manure used as an organic fertilizers) in the experiment. Buckwheat cultivar were cultivated in April 2019 and harvested in July 2019. After harvesting, different buckwheat parts (root, shoot and grain) were determined for micro element content (Cu, Mn, Fe and Zn) with the Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. Findings results shown that there are statistically significant differences in terms of grain yield as fertilizer applications, cultivars and cultivar fertilizer interactions. While the best results for the Cukurova region were obtained from Güneş cultivar (102.20 kg da-1) as a cultivar, the best results were obtained from the application of Urea (138.1 kg da-1) as a fertilizer application. Although there is no statistically significant difference between the cultivars in terms of grain microelement content, it was determined that there is a statistical difference between the average values of fertilizer applications as Cu, Fe and Mn content. The best results were obtained from urea application on micronutrients in Cu (35.38 mg kg-1), Fe (207.30 mg kg-1) and Mn (37.22 mg kg-1). As a result, the best type of fertilizer in the Cukurova Region is the Güneş cultivar, while the best fertilizer application is urea, which is an inorganic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer applications are not important, but the best results were obtained from cattle manure as organic fertilizer.

This study was conducted to determine the effects of “biofertilizers” (N 8%, P2O5 1%, 9% K2O, 3% Iron, 0.06% Zinc, Bacillus subtilis (GBO3), Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens ve Bacillus pumilus) eaf applications on yield and quality parameters of bread wheat at different developmental stages. The experiment carried out for this purpose was conducted in the wheat sowing seasons of 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 at Doğankent location of the Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute. In this research, “biofertilizers” leaf applications were applied to the wheat in different stages of development. For this purpose, 4 themes were worked out as; control, tillering, tillering + stem elengation and stem elengation. Biofertilizers doses of 100 gr/da in the first year and 0.75 gr/da in the second year were investigated. As a basic fertilizer for all experiment subjects; 15 kg DAP per decar were given during sowing period and 29 kg Urea during the tillering period, as a result of the research carried out; using biofertilizers in wheat farming, both in tillering and stem elengation periods, increased the yield 12.67% more efficiency in the first year and 13.16% more in the second year than the control subject. There were no statistically significant effects on quality parameters of wheat by using “biofertilizers” in foliar applications.

Bu araştırma, farklı silajlık mısır çeşitlerinin verim ve bazı özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla 2018 yılında Isparta Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi, Eğitim, Araştırma ve Uygulama Çiftliği’nde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada materyal olarak 6 silajlık mısır çeşidi (DKC721, Hido, Kilowat, Kolosseus, LG30709 ve PNR31143) kullanılmıştır. Denemeler, tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak kurulmuştur. Araştırmada yeşil ot verimi, bitki boyu, sap, yaprak ve koçan oranları, yaprak sayısı, koçan uzunluğu ve koçan çapı değerleri belirlenmiştir. Varyans analiz sonuçlarına göre çeşitler arasında yeşil ot verimi, bitki boyu, yaprak sayısı, koçan boyu ve koçan çapı değerleri bakımından %1 düzeyinde, koçan oranı bakımından ise %5 düzeyinde istatistiksel olarak önemli farklılıklar bulunurken, sap ve yaprak oranları açısından çeşitler arasında gözlemlenen farklılıkların istatistiksel olarak önemsiz olduğu belirlenmiştir. İncelenen özellikler bakımından, yeşil ot verimi 8624,9-10681,0 kg/da, bitki boyu 234,3-294,3 cm, yaprak sayısı 13,0-15,2 adet/bitki, koçan uzunluğu 20,7-26,0 cm ve koçan çapı 46,5-55,6 mm arasında değişmiştir. Özellikle verim ve sap, yaprak ve koçan oranları açısından Hido çeşidi öne çıkarken bunu Kolosseus ve LG30709 çeşitlerinin takip ettiği gözlemlenmiştir. DKC721 çeşidinin ise incelenen özellikler bakımından geride kaldığı söylenebilir.

This research was carried out in the greenhouses of Pamukkale University Menderes Basin Agricultural Application and Research Centre in order to determine the effects of different blossom pruning on yield and quality in Ayza F1 tomato cultivars. The experiment consisted three different applications; pruning group having 6 fruits in flower bunch, pruning group having 7 fruits in flower bunch and control group without pruning. As the quality criterion in the tomato cultivar, total amount of water soluble dry matter (TWSDM %), pH, titratable acidity (TA mval 100 ml-1), hardness of fruit flesh (Newton) and antioxidant content (%) were determined. In addition, fruit diameter (cm), fruit length (mm) and weight (g) were detected. Yield parameters such as total yield (g plant-1), marketable yield (g plant-1), number of fruits (number plant-1), average fruit weight (g fruit-1) were considered detailed. Flower pruning having 6 fruits was prominent in terms of marketable yield, fruit weight, fruit diameter, fruit length and dry matter (DM) values. The effects of the applications on the quality characteristics such as fruit index, TWSDM and pH were found to be insignificant and their effects on DM, TA, fruit flesh hardness and antioxidant amount were detected to be significant.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, fertigasyon uygulamalarında farklı gübreleme zamanlarının (her sulamada gübre: H.S.G., her ikinci sulamada gübre: H.İ.S.G., her üçüncü sulamada gübre: H.Ü.S.G.) ve mikoriza uygulamalarının biber bitkisinin verimine ve besin elementleri alımına olan etkilerini araştırmaktır. Araştırma Çukurova Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Toprak Bilimi ve Bitki Besleme Bölümü’ne ait araştırma ve deneme alanında, tarla koşullarında, iki yıl süreyle ve üç tekerrürlü olarak yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada fertigasyon uygulaması geleneksel yöntem ile karşılaştırmalı olarak yapılmış, test bitkisi olarak biber ve mikoriza türü olarak Glomus caledonium kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada biber bitkisinin verimi ile yaprakların azot (N), fosfor (P), potasyum (K), demir (Fe), çinko (Zn), mangan (Mn) ve bakır (Cu) konsantrasyonları belirlenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular, birinci yılda en yüksek verimin fosfor uygulanmış ve mikoriza aşılanmış her ikinci sulamada gübre uygulamasından elde edildiğini ortaya koymuştur (2809 kg/da). İkinci yılda ise, 2113 kg/da ile fosfor uygulanmayan mikoriza aşılanmış bitkilerde her sulamada gübre uygulamasında belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, her sulamada gübre uygulaması diğer uygulamalarla karşılaştırıldığında, biber bitkisinin P konsantrasyonunu önemli ölçüde artırmıştır. Araştırmada genel olarak, mikoriza aşılanmış bitkilerin aşılanmamış bitkilerden daha yüksek verim ve besin elementi alımına sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of solid and liquid vermicompost on yield and nutrient uptake of tomato plant. The study was carried out with three replications according to the experimental pattern of randomized plots in the plastic pots with the capacity of 3 kg under the greenhouse conditions of Plant and Animal Production Department of Cumhuriyet University. In the study, chemical fertilization was applied for comparison with solid and liquid vermicompost. Vermicompost doses were applied as 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%. In the study, tomato yield and nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu) concentrations were determined. The results have shown that 10% solid vermicompost increased dry matter production of tomato plant with 8,92 g pot-1. This application was followed with 7,04 g pot-1 dry matter production in 20% solid vermicompost application. The highest increase in P (0,27% P) and K (9,01%) concentration of tomato plant was determined in 40% solid vermicompost. However, the highest N concentration was determined with chemical fertilization (4,06%). Generally, it was determined that the solid vermicompost higher effect on the yield and nutrient uptake of tomato plant than liquid vermicompost.
