There were no differences in the voluntary intake of corn diet between broiler chickens fed with unsupplemented or medium level methionine supplemented diets. The supplementation of 7.04 g of DL-methionine in diet (high-level) caused a significant depression of body weight and feed intake in broiler chickens. The decrease of dry matter and fat content but the increase of crude protein and sulphur-amino acid content in carcasses of broiler chickens fed with the high methionine diet was stated
