Determination of qualitative characteristics of a large number of sugar samples from production was performed and on the basis of the results obtained the comparative estimation of physico-chemical and microbiological quality was done in relation to Yugoslav and foreign regulations. The results of investigations can serve as the basis for the change of the existing Yugoslav standards.
