The table of nutrient composition of foods commonly used in Zimbabwe is presented. A list of foods characteristic of the diets of Zimbabwean families was drawn from various sources. These foods were considered to be the important foods of the country because the foods were staple items of the diet and/ or were important sources of one or more nutrients in the diet
