Possibility of chlorophyll meter test calibration to predict nitrogen status of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

The method suggested by Lemaire and Salete using nitrogen nutritional index (NNI) is suitable for chlorophyll meter readings calibration. The optimum value of SPAD through which index NNI reaches 1 is 510. Studies on calibration for this tool are needed for utilization N recommendations
