The effect of enzymes on improving the nutritive value of sunflower meal in feed mixtures for broilers

The effect of enzymes addition to feed mixtures with high sunflower meal content on the nutritive value improvement in broilers feeding was investigated. The aim was to eliminate the negative effect of increased crude fibre content from sunflower meal. The addition of 0.05 proteolytic and 0.05 multienzymatic preparations produced faster weight gain by 3.47, better feed conversion by 4.23 and less feed consumption by 0.97 in broilers feeding.
