Effect of bacterial or bacterial-enzyme preparation additives on lucerne hylage quality and lambs weight gain

In drought conditions, from direct 2-nd cut lucerne 3 groups of haylage were studied: without treatment - control, with additive of 0,5% bacterial and of 1,5% bacterial-enzyme preparation.The feed trial of 30 male lambs took 43 days, and haylage was 50% of diet DM. The average liveweight gain, feed DM/liveweight gain ratio, and DMI in the 3 groups showed no significant difference.
