Major sources for lycopene in the human diet are tomatoes and tomato products. We examined the effect of different growing methods (forcing, growing with supporting system and industrial) and different environmental conditions on lycopene content formation. Our examinations comprise on effect of different harvesting time. Lycopene content of tomato depends on: variety, environmental conditions, degree of maturity, harvesting time.
