Maximizing pepper production per cubic meter of Irrigation Water

A study was carried out during 2001 growing season, to examine the effects of irrigation quantities and planting densities on hot pepper yields (Capsicum frutescens L.) of "Anaheim Chili" variety. The experiment aimed to determine the actual evapotranspiration (ETc?) for the treatments that gives maximum yield and to determine the crop coefficient (Kc?) using Penman-Monteith, Class-A pan evaporation, Blaney-Criddle and Radiation methods.
