Use of Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry - ICP-OES to Determine the Macro in the Cow Milk and Cheese

It is presented a method based on ICP-OES that analyse the content of Ca, K, Mg, Na, P and S, in cow raw milk and cheese. The mineralization of the samples was made with concentrated nitric acid and hydrogen prekis. The heating was carried out with microwave system Mileston 1200 MEGA. It was found that the method is suitable for routine monitoring and quality control of foods produced from cow milk.
