Предложен ряд мер направленных на ее устранение с использованием люпина и кормовых бобов. Современное животноводство интересуют белковые добавки с содержанием протеина не менее 35%. На сегодняшний день в мире есть только две культуры способные удовлетворять такую потребность - это соя и люпин. Для Американского континента с теплым муссонным климатом больше подходит соя, а для холодных континентальных условий России - люпин. Для нашей страны это такой же идеальный белковый компонент корма, как соевые бобы для США и Бразилии. Три вида люпина стабильно формируют урожай семян на всей Европейской территории России от тучных черноземов юга до кислых супесчаных проблемных почв центра и севера страны. Кроме того, ни одна зернобобовая культура, включая сою, не сравнится с люпином по выходу белка с гектара пашни. При производстве белковых продуктов из люпина для кормления ранних половозрастных групп моногастричных животных и птицы нужно снимать семенную оболочку в целях устранения избытка клетчатки, а ядро из семядолей и зародыша подвергать термической обработке для изменения антипитательных свойств пектина и олигосахаров. В результате можно получить уникальный белковый продукт, в состав которого входит 1,5-2,0% клетчатки и 42-48% сырого протеина без Сахаров и крахмала. Содержание алкалоидов в семенах современных сортов люпина не превышает 0,02-0,05%. Рентабельность предприятий по производству кормовых продуктов из сои, которые начали добавлять к ней до 50% люпина (нативного или без оболочки), повысилась на 70% благодаря тому, что люпин в 1,5-2,0 раза дешевле. При этом не установлено ни одного случая снижения продуктивности птицы и животных, выращиваемых на таком корме, а наоборот, в ряде случаев отмечено повышение продуктивности на 2-5%
