The aim of this paper is the identification and quantitation of azoic dyes in some adultered oils for human use, which can cause risks in human health. Dyes of aminoazoic type are studied as the first part of a wider work in this subject. Analytical method is based on the extraction of dyes by 4N HCl. The identification is carried out by HPLC with UV detector. The proposed conditions permit the detection of 0,1 ppm of aminoazoic dyes in oils.
