In three-year experiment the author found that in the years which were favourable for the regrowth of bread rye (Secale cereale2048 L.) and forage rye (Secale cereale var. millicaute Metzg.) in mixtures with the hairy vetch (Vicia villosa Roth.) the last found better conditions of development in regrowth and gave better, before all more reproducible yields of seeds than when grown in seed plantations as a chief crop. It is possible to obtain a satisfactory yield of grain from regrowth on condition of an early harvest of green mass, and first of all of a sufficient moisture content in the soil after harvest which ensures a good regrowth of both compon
