It has been proved that the fungus developed the most2048 intensively on the malt 1% nutrient medium and the most weakly on the Czapek-Doxa nutrient medium. Only spores of the colony at age of 3 days showed 100% germination. But it did not succeed to isolate the Kabatiella zeae from the maize seeds. This fungus was isolated only from dry leaves of plants infested in the previous year, investigated in wet chamber but not subjected to the superficial disinfec
