Two polyclonal antisera for determination of Clavibacter michiganenisis subsp. sepedonicus, the causal agent of potato bacterial ring rot, were prepared. The titres of these antisera were 1 : 128 for antiserum CS 6 and 1 : 64 for antiserum CS 7. Antiserum CS 7 with a lower titre was used for slide agglutination after absorption with cross reacting bacteria (Pseudomonas fluorescens, Ralstonia solanacearum, Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. isidiosus). Antiserum specificity was verified with a group of Cms bacterial strains. The antiserum CS 6 with a higher titre was used for preparation of IgG and IgG-AP that will be used to detect Cms in samples of potato tubers by the ELISA method.
