China's furniture industry and the Chinese consumer marketplace have been experiencing dramatic changes over the last 10 years. These changes impose intense pressure on the United States and other furniture manufacturers; but, they may also provide opportunities to tap into the Chinese consumer furniture market. This paper is a study of China's furniture industry competitive forces and the Chinese consumer marketplace. This research will yield insights into Chinese marketplace competition factors and opportunities.
