Influence of body mass of kids prior to slaughtering on major meat quality traits

Investigation were carried out on Domestic White kids divided into three groups: group of light kids, average body mass of 12.653 kg (8.8-15.0 kg), middle-heavy kids, average body mass of 17.613 kg (15.1-20.0 kg), and heavy kids, 22.697 kg (20.1-25.7 kg), and average age of 70, 97 and 129 days. The objective of this research was to determine which weight group of kids gave the best meat quality in regard to technological, biological and organoleptic traits.
