During studies examining several aspects of zinc nutrition in human subjects, the zinc content of several food and meal composites was determined. Among the foods analyzed were a number of items not included in the currently available tables of zinc content. Results of these analyses are reported. Tables show the zinc content of selected foods, the distribution of zinc in food items by food groups, the zinc content of food homogenates and results of a 24 hour recall of dietary intake.
