In oyster mushroom production, the integrated microbiological procedure was developed and patented by 3 Hungarian researchers - Imre Heltay, Erno Toth and Laszlo Toth (HTT). Ede Vessey joined them later on, thus adding a V to the name of the procedure (HTTV), which was only a formal name, not describing the contents.
