Extract: In revising the USDA's Agricultural HandbookNo. 8, last published in 1963, the data are being released in sections. The newest section, soon to be available, covers baby food. Since 1963, processing procedures have been changed, resulting in considerable differences in nutritional content of some baby foods. These and other factors reflected in the new figures are discussed, with data for selected foods presented as examples.
