Comparison of nutrient content of two types of frozen meals for a nutrition program for the elderly

Concern about providing meal service to the rural elderly resulted in a Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station project to investigate the acceptability, cost, and nutrient content of frozen meals as alternatives in home-delivery programs. The purpose of this article was to discuss the results of the nutrient comparisons conducted as part of that project.
