FRIGORÍFICO GUADALUPE S.A.S., es un centro de negocios y servicios integrales, cuya actividad económica principal consiste en el beneficio de ganado bovino y porcino y, en la manipulación, extracción y alistamiento de los productos resultantes del sacrificio de animales, generando así valor a la cadena cárnica y sus derivados. Cuenta con más de cincuenta años de experiencia, posicionándose, así como referente en la industria cárnica. Las actividades de esta sociedad en Colombia se encuentran clasificadas con el Código CIIU 1011 (procesamiento y conservación de carne y productos cárnicos). Actualmente se encuentra certificada en un sistema de Gestión Ambiental bajo la norma ISO 14001:2015 y anualmente generan reportes de sostenibilidad bajos los estándares GRI. Debido a la actividad productiva que se realiza, se generan consumos considerables de agua y energía, por lo cual se ve la necesidad de realizar monitoreo permanente del recurso y de la manera en cómo se hace uso de este, asegurando así, el cumplimiento normativo y los demás requerimientos del sector. Adicional a lo anterior, la constante expansión del mercado hace ver la necesidad de implementar actualizaciones de prácticas con el fin de que la producción cuente con altos estándares de calidad y que al mismo tiempo esta sea sostenible y amigable con el medio ambiente. El presente trabajo actualizó el programa de ahorro y uso eficiente del agua para el Frigorífico Guadalupe S.A.S, con el fin de mejorar los actuales mecanismos que se utilizan, y así, fortalecer el control frente al uso recurso hídrico en de las diferentes actividades que se realizan dentro de la organización. | FRIGORÍFICO GUADALUPE it is a business and integral services Centre, whose main economic activity consists bovine and pig cattle’s benefit, manipulation, extraction and also enlistment of the products resulting from the slaughter of animals, generating value for the chain meat and his derivatives. In addition to the above, the constant expansion of the market shows the need to implement updates of practices so that production has high-quality standards and at the same time is sustainable and friendly to the environment.
