Wheat germ oil obtained by pressing on low capacity screw press, without pretreatment of germ, can be of especially high biological value and good quality depending of germ quality. Due to high content of essential fatty acids, tocopherols and other micronutrients, this oil can be consumed directly as "bio-oil" (medicinal oil), or as special oil for medicinal or cosmetic purposes.
