Effect of ad libitum or restricted feeding on the growth and slaughter performance of ducks

An experiment on 200 ducks fed ad libitum or restricted to 75 percent of ad libitum diet for 3 - 8 weeks was carried out. Worse feed conversion efficiency and lower carcass weight as well as a higher meat content and the lower fat content in carcasses as a result of duck restricted feeding was stated
