Analysis of by-products obtained from slaughtered lambs of different origin

This research was carried at the farm "Mezkaleji" in the village of Platone in the district of Jelgava. Age of the animals under the research as well as live weight before slaughtering and growth intensity in groups differed insignificantly. From the Latvian dark-head pedigree rams, in comparison with the second and the third research groups, essentially higher blood specific weight - 6.37% (p0.05) and in comparison with the second and the fourth research group essentially higher lung and windpipe specific weight - 1.68% (p0.05) were obtained.
