Study of factors influencing oxidation which occur in irradiated fats
1960
Lundberg, W. O.
A 1959 report of a study found that the irradiation of saturated methyl esters containing added antioxidants results in the destruction of the antioxidants due to the formation of reducing compounds. Irradiation of methyl linoleate greatly reduced oxidation resistance when subsequently exposed to oxygen.
