Glucosinolates in Chinese cabbage

Data on the glucosinolate compositions of nine open-pollinated varieties and five F1 hybrid varieties are presented. Total glucosinolate content ranged from 174 to 1357 p.p.m., with open-pollinated varieties showing greater variation among heads than hybrids.
