Production, storage, packing and quality evaluation of guava nectar

Guava nectar has been produced and preserved in bottles and cans. The storage behaviour regarding physico-chemical analysis such as total soluble solids (T.S.S.), acidity, pH and vitamin C in canned and bottled nectar was investigated . The developed product was attractive in colour, flavour and refreshing with uniform consistency. Bottled and canned samples were readily acceptable upto a storage period of 120 days.
