In addition to chemical analyses reviewed in the previous number of the same jorunal, wines of the 1993 vintage year were tested also organoleptically. These tests showed a higher alcohol and (in red wines) colouring matter content. White wines proved to be poor in acids and lilely to age rapidly, and in general having a quality lower than the average.
