Changes in protein content in the leaf tissues of sorghum and maize due to Perenosclerospora sorghi infection

Downy mildew infection caused an increase in protein content in the leaves of sorghum and maize varieties tested in the present investigation. This increase in protein content due to P. sorghi infection was found significant in sorghum variety DMS-652 and in all the three varieties of maize.
