The purpose of this study is to determine the factors which are affecting the surface quality of massive flooring in the condition of our country and to make theoretical studies to determine the parameters for optimum surface quality. Beech parquet, oak parquet and iroko parquet types of wood are cutten in radial and tangential pices. In this test I.II.III.IV. quality massive flooring samples are used to measure the surface roughness. The test measurement values for the roughness of the flooring surface are statistically evaluated according to the amount of the moister, how long the saw is used for cutting, the kind and density of wood and the cutting speed. In conclusion, while the amount of moister increases, the surface roughness is also increasing and because of this the bonding quality of producing contra flooring and lamine flooring is decreasing. The bonding quality of smooth flooring compared with rough flooring is 33% better. In the case where surface smoothness and thickness is important, rough floorings have to be sanded more and this causes a decrease in the effective thickness.
