The changes of cytochrome spectra after incubation of bakers yeast in rehydration milieu

The effect of rehydration milieu on the cytochrome absorbency relation - A562 (absorbency of reduced cytochrome b), A550 (absorbency of reduced cytochrome c) and A562/A603 (absorbency of reduced cytochrome a) after oxygen consumption has been investigated. It has been observed that 100% oxygen stimulates the cytochrome absorbency relation changes, but degassing of rehydration milieu shows the opposite effect.
