Composition of commercial U.S. and Turkish dried apricots

The composition of United States dried Blenheim apricots and Turkish dried apricots was compared. The Blenheim apricots are more acidic, higher in sugars, contain twice the beta-carotene but half the calcium as the Turkish apricots. The amino acid profile is similar for the two fruits.
