[Investigations about cholesterol content in cows' milk]

The cholesterol content in milk of 12 Latvian brown cows was tested in summer and winter. The results showed that the cholesterol content in milk is ranging from 0.09 till 0.22 g/l in summer and from 0.08 till 0.17 g/l in winter. There were seasonal differences in the cholesterol content in milk and milk fat. The cholesterol content in milk decreased with the beginning of stall-feeding period.
